I think I gave too little time for this. I was planning on doing the invites in a few hours, but that would only leave a day's notice for most players...I guess I'll send out the invites for NEXT Sunday. The problem with the invites is that it'll take me at least three hours to sift through all the zh players and send them all the PMS + lichess doesn't allow me to send mass PMs lol. I need to wait a bit each time so that lichess doesn't think I'm spamming. Anyway...yeah. Plus, this will at least give the streamers more time to cover this event. @JannLee I'd love if you'd cover the event, and also of course @Atrophied @crosky should take part in the tournament (voice-over?!).

Set a time and then setup the arena a week in advance.

Easiest time for me to cover would be 7pm GMT on Saturday 15th April.

That's also been the historical time for the BitChess events which have always had good attendance.

Next Sunday is Easter...

I was really looking to the event this Saturday even though personally I have zero chance, it is a thrilling event to spectate (and participate if only at a superficial level).

As for sending out invites, I'm sure many people could be roped in to do this on your behalf. There will always be problems that not everyone sees messages etc.. I think ideally it should go ahead Saturday as scheduled... the withdrawal was last minute, so the tournament is last minute also.
