Ian did it again!

GM Ian Nepomniachtchi tested the King's Gambit once more, this time against three GMs at the 2023 FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship, scoring three points, including against the Falkbeer Countergambit. They were not perfect games, but instructive for those of us who love this opening. I especially liked his victory in the eighth round.
I have the impression that since Carlsen's withdrawal from the WC, chess creativity is doing better. Carlsen is a bit like the modern-day Capablanca, but I find there is greater opening creativity - even if it's just a blitz
I love there are players like Ian Nepomniachtchi who keep these openings alive.
mm Cool Game, slowly Непомнящий, had gained profits in position, until His Pressing becomes visible
When I learned chess, in my childhood, I read several books with very old chess games. The King's Gambit appears in several of those games. I loved those games and I still like to study them.
