7-piece Syzygy tablebases are complete

This is really nice but , I need 1 more thing that is - Change username option . Please try to do this . Please .
what is this tablebase? i have read and cannot understand please someone explain to me in simple terms what is this and how useful it is
@MorsPrincipumEst endgame tablebases are stores all info to do perfect(!) play in positions up to 8 pieces on board. In contrast to opening books which only stores statistical info (win/draw/lose percentages of large amount of high level player games) of moves in a particular position these databases can tell you exactly that a move can win/draw/lose in perfect play by both side.
Do we now have 7 piece table base for variants as well?
0.35 bits per position is very cool, and I'd really like to know how the compression algorithm works.

> I heard once that some 8man TBs have been made in which there is a pair of blocked pawns (e.g. WP@d4, BP@d5). This doesn't cause a complexity explosion because neither pawn can move; and any change to that pawn bloc removes a piece from the board, producing a 7man position.
> Can't find any information about that now by googling though.
