Bug Report: Serious Lag Causes odd behavior

I have a good Internet connection without much lag. However, starting from a couple of days ago or so, I seem to have an issue with Lichess. I usually use Google Chrome to play. I tried switching to Mozilla Firefox to see if that would make a difference. It does not. So, I think your site has some issues with multi-threaded code when it comes to both game play and handling the game lobby window. What happens is that the game seems to freeze. Then, I hear a move has been made. But, I don't see the move on my board and both clocks are still stopped. When it comes back again, it turns out that my clock has been running. I did not have this issue until a couple of days ago.

Also, I often don't see my game seek in the lobby window either. Often times I see a seek in the window that matches my seek and I wait a minute or two and it still does not match me. I'm a software developer myself, so I can pretty much tell that the issue is related to multi-threaded code and the lack of critical sections / mutexes to properly single thread the code when it is needed. Or, maybe you have too many users logging on. But, the issue with the game board is pretty recent, so I suspect that it is due to a bug.
