I made a one-time $10 donation to Lichess via a VISA Credit Card. It showed success on Lichess and patron wings were granted.
However, I later noticed that the payment was declined on my credit card because international payments were disabled.
I intend to donate again later after enabling international payments, but the point is that Lichess should not have shown a successful donation despite the credit card declining payment.
