I have noticed that my rating goes UP when I lose. It also goes up if I win. Why? I'm NEVER paired with an opponent of my rating or below. Does that have anything to do with it?
It means there is a problem with the rating system at that spectrum

Hmmm ... sounds like a bug. Even if it drops the variance or whatever, your estimated rating still should never rise from a loss in the Elo, Glicko, or Glicko-2 systems.
Are you sure it was you who lost? You know that bit where you got that the geezer with the hat in trouble? If it wasn't yours you were doing all right.
This is where massive rating inflation comes from.
You must have been playing Biddalonian chess where the object is lose before your opponent and where a loss is a win and a win is a loss.
