find OTB players where I live

How can I find players that live close and maybe want to grab some beers and play some OTB chess?

Best bet is to find a chess club.

@imosescu Finding a local chess club is a good idea (try googling for '<your area> chess club'.)

Another option is to try finding (or creating) a lichess team for your area (en.lichess.org/team/all) and arranging a meetup on there.

You might not have much luck with that though - our 'Scotland' team has been pretty empty for a while for example :P.
