Average time thinking of per move

Whats your average time of thinking of per move?

and how many variants/trees you can calculate by that time?
Thinking? Shouldn't it be automatic? :D
I like to think about a minute per move but I usually think much much less because I play like 10+15 or so, the usual thing, but I do not think there is a time per move
You can spend a whole lot of time in one move trying to grasp the position and then play the rest kind of fast,
as to the second question I know that there are people that calculate moves but I am not that type of player I just look at the pieces and see how they are connected and see what feels right, of course there are positions specially sharp ones that require more calculation but I am not good at them, I have to work on that as I play a lot by feeling.
I mean there are positions like castling long or castling short that are quite difficult to choose, specially for white,
as white has the initiative he has to think more in my opinion, I find it easier to play with black as I just react, in general, or when u find a new position that u ve never before a confusing one, then u feel like u have to spend time there, I mean there are sometimes in chess a point in a game, a move, that u know that move is the key like it will turn the game into one or other direction, perhaps choosing a kingside attack or queenside attack, or decide to defend or to trade or to open the position but then there are also many moves in chess that are kind of natural, like doubling rooks or moving the king at the endgame,
I just do not believe in the tree aspect of chess, I do not play like that and most players do not either, of course I calculate but chess is much more than that.
Perhaps what you say is true in correspondence chess, where u have to analyze and analyze again but I ve never played, I have two games open now but It feels kind of weird to spend a day per move.
what I am trying to say it is that I try to activate the pieces or find harmony between them or search for some idea, so It is more like concept thinking, I do not go for calculation but I am sure there is that school of thought in chess.
