Longer Private Tournaments & other options

I found an old thread asking for longer tournament time control options, which was responded to that very long open tournaments are impractical (to which I agree). However, why can't private tournaments be set up with time controls longer than 7+2? Private tournaments for coaches and clubs as well as groups of friends have none of the logistics limitations that open ones do.

Private tournaments should also be schedulable; whoever doesn't show up after a certain time will forfeit (size of tournament scaling automatically to however many are present at start time).

Also concerning tournaments: A round robin and double round robin tournament mode for small groups would be great, along with the ability to not set a max duration. These could have a warning that they will take a long time for large tournaments or with long time controls, which the user setting it up (and those participating) will be aware of in the case of a private tournament.

Yes this is kind of a wish-list type post, I hope some of these things are possible, but either way am thankful for all the effort that goes into this site, Cheers.
We've kind of got that in a way, well, a way has been found. That being shown in the 90/30 tournaments, of which the next one will be the second:

The first one was pretty successful (and I'm not just saying that because I came third):

Basically over that type of extended period when playing people all over the world, the best solution is arranging a time between the players and then playing a rated or casual game at that time and reporting the results back in the group.

Two of my all time favourite wins on this site were in that first tournament and my all time favourite loss anywhere was also in that first tournament (the 95 move beast against LM AdmiralA).

Of course if you want *really* long games (i.e. correspondence games) then Lichess isn't really the place for that, but the ICCF has had a bit of practice (many decades).
I do believe that there should be more time for classical and other tournaments as 7minutes+2 seconds per move is still blitz time. I believe it should be at least 15 minutes+ an increment
